In 2007 she worked at Trenton Animal Hospital for a short while before taking maternity leave to have her second child. Dr. Hiers spent the next couple of years working part time at Newberry Animal Hospital and West End Animal Hospital, while running her own veterinary acupuncture mobile business for small animals and horses. In May of 2010, she became co-owner of Trenton Animal Hospital with her husband. 

Dr. Hiers professional interests include acupuncture for small and large animals, surgery, and internal medicine. When she is not at work at the clinic she is hard at work at her more important job, mother of three amazing children, Colton, Taylor, and Ashton. Dr. Hiers personal interests include traveling, hiking (really doing anything active outside) and attending any Gator sports events-GO GATORS!
